No, I'm not counting the days until retirement! I'm enjoying every day
and it's a good feeling knowing that I won't be doing Progress Reports,
Grades etc. again. Closure is good! I'm definitely looking forward to "No
Schedule". I've enjoyed the "journey" and now I'm looking forward to my next
"adventure"! What is that going to be? Most importantly I'll be able to
spend more time with my daughters and my grandchildren. I have my own
business, Manhattan With Maria. Take a peek at what I do. My website address is

I'm a member of The Archaeological Institute of America and I'm looking
forward to going on a dig (hope I don't ruin my manicure). I'm a member of
Delta Kappa Gamma Society International and will become more involved. I
plan to travel... I'm going to Disney World with my granddaughter at the end
of school, Portugal for two weeks in September and as a graduation gift for
my grandson, three weeks touring France. I understand that Elderhostel is
super... so I'm planning something with that group. I'm a member of
"Adventure On A Shoestring" which tours Manhattan. Anyone who loves NYC
should join! Las Vegas is the Best! I'm looking into the possibility of
doing some consulting work for the Las Vegas School District (for a period of
4 - 6 weeks at a time). Last but not least is my TOY! A 1930 Model A Ford
convertible with rumble seat... I love driving it... No easy task! AND I
even lift the hood and check the oil etc. So if you see a Kelly Green Model
A Ford on the road... put out your thumb and I'll stop and give you a ride!
