Patchogue-Medford High School Art Department - Ellen DiFazio, an art teacher at the high school, designed this site to highlight the department's staff, students, artwork and awards. All the artwork was custom designed by Ms. DiFazio just for this site.

A Thinkquest Harry Potter Site -this site is about the Harry Potter series of books. It is a participant in ThinkQuest web design contest. Harry Potter is written by J.K.Rowling, who lives in Edinburgh, Britain. There will be 7 books in all, but only 3 are out now. The fourth book will be available on July 8, 2000.

Alice in Wonderland an Interactive adventure Welcome to Wonderland! Here you will enjoy activities with Alice and her Wonderland friends! Lewis Carroll's two Alice Books, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, have been my favorites since I was a child. The National Teacher Recruitment Clearinghouse -  Trying to use the Internet to fill a teacher shortage, President Clinton launched a one-stop clearinghouse on August 27, 2000 to help schools find qualified teachers.  By logging onto www.recruitingteachers.org, school districts can find qualified teachers, and teachers can find out where the jobs are.

Dr. Math- Ask Dr. Math is a question and answer service for K-12 math students and their teachers. A searchable archive is available by level and topic.  Dr. Math is actually a group of college math whizzes.

Thinkwave.com  - ThinkWave provides gradebook applications for teachers to manage their classrooms and enables parents and students to access grades and other classroom information online. We have heard very good reviews about this site and the free software.

Audrey Wood's - Author/illustrator Wood and her husband Don have created an interactive look into the many books they've created. A great site for the Woods' many fans.

His poems will bring a smile to all primary and intermediate age children. The section "Rhyme Time Fun" is a great way of starting children writing rhyming poems. Make sure to play "Java Jukebox" for some background music as you enjoy the poetry.

EPALS Classroom ExchangeThis site contains a searchable database of over 14,000 classrooms from all over the world. Be sure to read their Internet safety tips for protecting your students or children while they are online.

Judy Blume Official Web Site- The official web site includes the author’s biography and writing tips. Background information relating to her stories can be found by clicking on the "Kids’ Page" link.

Nutrition Cafe - In this series of interactive games, students will be challenged in their knowledge of nutritional facts. Some of the activites offered are: "Nutrition Sleuth" an activity similar to "Hangman," in which students are provided clues for finding the missing nutrient, and "Grab a Grape," a Jeopardy style game in which you are given the answer and must choose the correct question about nutritional facts. "Have a Bite Cafe," allows you to select a meal and then analyze a table of nutrients for your choice.
