On Monday, Nov. 1st, PMCT help a blood drive at Saxton Middle School to benefit Long Island Blood Services. Although only 10 appointments had been made previous to Monday, there were many walk-in donors who brought the total collected for the day to 40 pints. The custodial staff at Saxton was extremely helpful to the PMCT Outreach committee and the committee is also very pleased with the parents and community members who so graciously donated blood. Many parents out on the fields watching games being played by their children saw the posters and came into Saxton to donate. This was the third Blood Drive for PMCT and the Outreach Committee will continue this important community service each year.
